Dr. David Schwartz

Co-Founder / Science Director

A “scientific detective,” Dr. Schwartz excels at analyzing how science and business interact. As a founding partner of Innovative Science Solutions, Dr. Schwartz is called upon by clients around the world to align scientific findings with health care product marketing claims. These products including drugs, cosmetics, dietary supplements and even functional foods. Dr. Schwartz is a keen judge of product safety and effectiveness and is called upon to defend and support products of all types in a variety of settings, including the courtroom, the regulatory arena, and the marketplace. With a talent for effectively communicating complex scientific information, Dr. Schwartz has become a go-to for business professionals, lawyers, and financial and investment films on issues involving healthcare products of all types. With the sheer weight of the scientific data, Dr. Schwartz is able to collect, evaluate, and present as evidence. Dr. Schwartz received a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Princeton University and post-doctoral from the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience at Rutgers University.

Jody R. Weiss

Co-Founder / Marketing Director

Jody R. Weiss is a mass-consumer marketer, fund-raiser and media expert, with a special focus on the transformation of consciousness through the lens of human rights. Weiss is building a Fund-of-Funds in the cannabis / hemp space and assisting in deploying capital into innovative and/or minority-led cannabis/hemp businesses.

Ms. Weiss launched PeaceKeeper™ Cause-Metics™ in 2002 and served as the company’s CEO. PeaceKeeper was one of the first cosmetics companies to give donations to urgent human rights issues and sold in 500+ stores. Recently, Weiss worked with the World Bank on a gender equality campaign called WEvolve in India and produced TV programming on racial justice called 1Future Presents Not Yet Free for PBS/NHK-TV. Ms. Weiss also served as the Co-Chair of the Nexus Youth Summit Sports for Good Lab. In her early career, Weiss was a sports agent at International Management Group (IMG), representing 45 elite athletes. Weiss has studied classical yoga and Kashmir Shaivism since 1977, to gain a deeper understanding of techniques in meditation and consciousness.
